What is Project S?

Project S Computational Humanities, Corpus Linguistics, and Research Software Engineering is a service subproject in CRC 1475 Metaphors of Religion (2026–2030). As the title of the subproject indicates, the goal of the service project is to assist the other subprojects of the CRC in several areas related to computational/digital humanities and software provision/development. This website provides an overview of the services offered as well as concrete materials, examples, and publications resulting from cooperation with other subprojects in the CRC.

Activities Winter Term 2026/27

Date: 08.09.2026

Project S is planning a workshop for all participating subprojects towards the end of the winter term. The topic, venue, and exact dates will be announced soon. Although the workshop is primarily intended for the participating subprojects, all other CRC members are warmly invited to attend as well.
